Description:

This webpage was created for my Web Design class, the project was simply to create an image gallery with 5 or more images. I knew immediately that I wanted to do something demonstrating the change in glacier size over time. With images and descriptions taken from the U.S. Geological Survey website, I used a parallax scrolling technique to show the "before and after" repeat photography of select Alaskan glaciers. I am grateful to Professor Hagan for recording this video of his exploration of the webpage, as well as Professor Harris for submitting it to the 2018 Student MAC Awards at SUNY Old Westbury for me. This piece won the Web Design category.
